Side note: I have nothing against used product. If itÕs trashed, obviously, thatÕs lame. But I donÕt get any benefit from you paying twice as much for the new book/cd/whatever solely for the sheer newness of it.

Miscellaneous:

á      Cool rock memorabilia. IÕve rocked out my enclosed patio room with posters, guitar picks, signed liner notes and albums, playbills, and a couple photos of me with bands. Anything you could add to it would be greatly treasured. Some of my favorite bands that I donÕt have any signatures from are the Smashing Pumpkins, the Silversun Pickups, Radiohead, John Lee Hooker (or any other blues legend), Evanescence, Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, Death Cab for Cutie, Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, the Killers.

á      Speaking of my rock room, IÕd like this They Might Be Giants poster or this Dashboard poster, because theyÕre both awesome.

á      A meteorite. IÕm a science geek (surprise!) and this would be awesome.

á     This T-shirt featuring the Mr. Period character from Penny Arcade.

á      A box of DewarÕs peanut butter chews. Yeah, I know this link is for the sugar-free ones. IÕm an old man trying not to get fat.

á      Awesome scenic photography from Samsgallery.com

á      WeezerÕs new CD with blue Weezer snuggie. Come on, this is awesome, right?

á      Emu meat. Ostrich is also acceptable. I got a hankerin'.

Audio:

á      The new Tegan and Sara.

á      The new Flyleaf.

á      ÒStrength in NumbersÓ by The Music.

á      This cool double-disc of Black Lab B-sides, only from the Black Lab website.

á      Jimmy Eat World made a recording of their spectacular ÒClarityÓ 10-year anniversary performance that Sue and I went to in March, and made a little digital package for it. ItÕs cheap! And also we were there! Neat!

Print: I do prefer hardback books, for theirÉ hardiness (nyuk nyuk), but even those are often pretty cheap on Amazon.com, or from third party Amazon sellers, or at your local used book store.

á      Nick HornbyÕs newest: Juliet.

á      Like half of Chuck KlostermanÕs catalog (the man I will grow up to become, once Spin hires me): Downtown Owl, Eating the Dinosaur, Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs.

á      Scientific American magazine subscription. IÕve put this on before, but never got it. If you follow the link, itÕs cheaper, and you can get 6 months or a year, depending only on your love for me J

Visual:

á      Mass Effect 2 pre-order. YouÕd probably have to love me a lot for this one. I got #1 last December, and was pretty much married to it for a month (but for no more than 2 hours a day!).

á      ÒBefore the Music Dies,Ó DVD about how music is becoming stupider and why. Great for that music-obsessed Òmedia analysisÓ major in your life.

á      ÒSo I Married An Axe Murderer.Ó In 2001-02, before I bought my first DVD, I made a list of the movies that I for sure needed to own. This is the last one on that list.
